We had one little girl who came after her three big brothers (poor girl) and never imagined that our world would now revolve so much around dance. We started our daughter around four or five in a Jazz/Hip Hop combo class and, other than making the mistake of scheduling her Covid shot the day before her class performed, she really liked it! Fast forward to her at age nine and a few years of Hip Hop classes, with Jazz and Lyrical thrown in, and she is LOVING dance and what I attribute much of that to are the wonderful and nurturing teachers and staff at Allegro. I often sit and watch my daughter’s classes and am thoroughly amazed at how patient, kind, and engaging each instructor is. The kids in class are definitely growing and progressing throughout the year. My daughter joined Team this year and has also enjoyed that experience as well. I highly recommend the environment at Allegro if you want your child to not only learn how to dance or get the wiggles out, but also to possibly make new and sincere friendships (between kids and parents alike…just start chatting with another parent watching 😁) and have a tired, but happy kid at home.

This Performing Arts Academy is absolutely amazing. We have been here for 4 years, and have witnessed first hand how open, supportive and inclusive they are towards students and parents. They have a high bar for advancing to the next level, making sure that students have a strong understanding and ability of the current level before advancing. They have extremely professional teachers and coaches that teach a variety of dance styles. They also have a wonderful Theater program that allows children 7 and above to experience acting, singing and dancing in 2 shows a year. They have drama and musical theater as regular classes for children who want to study, even if they're not a part of the Allegro Players, their theater group. This is the only studio our family has ever attended. However, I can't imagine ever going anywhere else. It really does become a family. They have classes for young children through teens, but adults are also encouraged to join if they are interested. If you're family is looking for a dance studio, I highly recommend Allegro Performing Arts Academy 💜

My daughter had started last year in the pre-dance class. She did her first showcase in Dec and had a blast. We love watching her progress in class! The teachers and staff are all amazing. You can tell they love to teach and are passionate about dance. Ms Johanna has been a great addition! My daughter loves her. We are excited to try out for dance team and do the next showcase! Excellent dance school for children and adults. Instructors work with student assistants that are closer to the age of students, specifically in children's classes. I especially like end of semester performances on stage. Dance itself is a self-confidence building activity, together with an on-stage performance it is a remarkable and invaluable experience for anyone.
