Elementary campers write, edit and publish their own eBooks; middle-schoolers create blogs, podcasts or short stories with pitch videos. Open-enrollment; operates at many California locations. ★★★★★Brandy BlauMy rising 3rd grade son, very surprisingly, absolutely LOVES this camp! He has ADHD and Tourette's, thus we stick with movement/game/sports based camps in the summer. But he struggled a bit with writing last year so we landed at AIW, I had to bribe him to go willingly and assumed he wouldn't like it one bit but at least he would learn something. well I was happily wrong, he loves it more than any other camp he's attended, he makes sure we arrive early and is already asking to return next summer. There is magic happening here folks!

She came home every day with stories about her new friends and humming/rapping songs about the writing process. Her final product was an e-book with illustrations. Her writing did improve (more coherent) but most importantly, she finished the camp so proud to be a published author. My only complaint is the facility was quite old but this is very minor.
