Incredibly poor communication with coaches ( we only communicate through athletes and evaluations). Poor management and hyper focused on scoring well in competitions instead of long term athlete development.

We enrolled our daughter here for gymnastics instruction, not just activity time, and lately that distinction has become a real concern. Since the introduction of the new iPad-based system, the level of coaching has noticeably dropped. In multiple classes, when not socializing, instructors spend a large portion of time focused on their iPads and checklists instead of actively working with the kids. What that looks like in practice is: Kids repeating skills incorrectly with no correction Little to no demonstration of techniques Minimal encouragement or engagement Instructors looking up occasionally just to call “rotate” From the parent viewing area, it’s very obvious when kids are struggling and just need small adjustments, but they’re not getting that feedback. They’re practicing the wrong form over and over. There is also a clear inconsistency between instructors. Some are engaged and try to help, but others are almost entirely disengaged, rarely interacting with the kids, not coaching, and not offering guidance. Some even stand around socializing and in one session, practicing tiktok dances. That’s frustrating to watch as a parent, especially when you know how much more the kids could be improving with even a little hands-on instruction. It increasingly feels like the focus has shifted from coaching to throughput. We understand that gyms have a wide range of skill levels and that not every child is on a competitive track, but every child should still receive actual instruction. Right now, many kids appear to be going through the motions without being taught how to improve and parents notice. We’re paying for coaching and skill development. If this is going to feel like loosely supervised activity time, there are plenty of other options. What we’d really like to see is a return to engaged instruction, coaches demonstrating skills, correcting form, and actively helping kids progress. There’s a lot of potential here, but the current approach feels more like structured playtime with unserious staff and a heavy focus on screens during class that are holding it back.

My daughter does not go to the gym for classes, but we did her birthday party there recently. VERY well run and great space for a party. The mat area had plenty of space for 30 kids and a good seating area for all the parents. The party room is HUGE and fit all the kids and parents with space left over. The instructors had the kids laughing and very engaged. Can't speak to the classes, but highly recommend for a birthday party!

The gym has very poor management, and the owner treats staff and parents with great disrespect and scorn. Nothing is transparent-- can barely get a response from the administration, schedules changing on a whim, constant turnover of coaching staff. I had high hopes for this place and it really disappointed us. **There were also serious safety concerns with some coaches clearly not qualified to train and/or spot athletes.** Good luck on your gymnastics journey!

STAY AWAY.. Emotionally unstable and unprofessional owner. It pains me as we loved this gym, but it has all changed. Athlete's emotional, and physical safety is not the owners concern. - he fires coaches without coverage plans - he is rude and unprofessional to parents - he failed to have sufficient staff to instruct gymnasts safely - his competition fees are 2X other gyms in the area with no justification for the extra costs After. 3 years with great experiences due to the dedicated coaching staff the owner has run the gym into the ground in the course of 90 days. The fact is he fired my daughter Coach who had just won NorCal coach of the year without a plan for coverage, and had no care for the emotional impact on his athletes. Athlete's were crying due the abrupt firing and the were unsupervised during practices over the next weeks. A gym needs to puts it's gymnasts first, I feel bad for the owner as he is going through a difficult time, but he can't put the safety of his gymnasts at risk. Stay away, don't put you children's safety at risk.
