Zoology Zone Science Center is a nonprofit reptile and amphibian science center in Hurricane that runs a hands-on summer day camp for children ages 6 to 11. Campers get up close with snakes, alligators and other animals while doing experiments, crafts and STEM activities, and the week ends with a family nature hike. The center houses over 100 reptiles and amphibians and operates as a rescue.

Powered by GoogleGreat place that offers some handling of reptiles and so informative. The owner is great and just a cool place to explore.
We had an awesome time at the birthday party today. I loved how the zookeepers still took the time to show and talk about other animals around the exhibit after the party. Great staff. Great environment. Very thankful for this place.
We booked a party at Zoology for my son’s 5th birthday and I couldn’t be more pleased! Staff is extremely nice, polite, and helpful as well as knowledgeable on the different reptiles they have. We absolutely loved getting a first hand show of some of the reptiles and the kids even got pictures with some! If you have a kiddo that loves reptiles this is the place to go for a party or just a day trip. We will definitely be back :)
Me and my family of all ages thoroughly enjoyed this spot! The staff clearly love their animals and it shows! Great hands on stuff and very inexpensive!
We attended a homeschool field trip at Zoology Zone. It was a great experience! The staff members were wonderful, and we had so much fun. The owner was very knowledgeable, and he taught us so much about science in a couple hours. The zone had many hands on activities for small children, and my older son enjoyed the hurricane simulator. My kids loved the experiments and all the reptiles.
