I spent the day there with my step daughters school group and was highly impressed. They have hiking trails, a fishing pond, and area to shoot bows, a gun range, cabins, a cafeteria, as well as lodging. If you looking to get outdoors in WV, give Camp VT a try.

★★★★Kathy ColeSo my family of 40 and I went there for our family reunion. We usually do Columbus at our aunt and uncles house, but this year we decided to change it up. So a 6 hour car ride goes by and we get there and unpack. There were 24 rooms and we were scared that we would have to share rooms with other family members. On maybe the second day we went to a gardening class with a greenhouse counselor. If anyone could get her name that would be a pleasure. She was very nice, she was one of our cousin's friends. Then we decided to make mushroom hats so we jumped into the car and picked up supplies. So two or three complaints: the bathroom fan and air conditioning was very annoying and loud. Plenty of parking and green space to play on. Reservations are a must and meals can be provided. Only 30 minutes from Charleston. Awesome, quiet place!!
