Ages 8 to 18 receive instruction on how to rig and sail the Foundation's wide assortment of small sailboats, starting with the smallest and moving to larger as skills improve. Learners progress at their own pace and enjoy the fun. For adults, three interesting activities are offered: guided sailing, adult learn to sail, and private lessons. The activities are scheduled at an agreed upon time. The guided sailing activity is tailored to the inclination of the client, and can be as basic as watching the coach and enjoying the cruise with no participation required. YSF is a registered non-profit organization and they have a website with much more information.

He is on top of his game and shows true passion for the organization and the program offerings. I have grown up on powerboats but had never been on a sailboat much less sailed. After my 12 hours of adult lessons with Mark I can confidently say I know my way around the boat and have an understanding of how sailing works and the principles to be able to sail on my own or teach others. I got exactly what I wanted out of the adult beginner program and some! I have nothing but great things to say about the kind folks at YSF! Mark was an incredibly kind, personable and relatable teacher that I really looked forward to the lessons. I went from 0 to having a clue about sailing in a few short weeks of lessons! Jabbo is a true asset! I look forward to joining the boat club as well as my daughter attending future sailing summer camp!
