The YMCA of Southern Arizona (YMCA of Tucson) operates summer day camps across its Tucson branches for ages 5–12, plus a teen camp for ages 13–15. Camp runs for eight weeks with games, water-based activities, sports and field trips, and a play-based approach that helps bridge gaps in reading and math.

Powered by GoogleFantastic place to work out, shower, relax, swim, play basketball, the weight room is huge, they have a boxing room, they have racquetball rooms, they have personal trainers who have classes, if you need to get in shape, come over here, there's people of all ages and it's a real chill place to be./
Love the facility and the locker rooms are always clean! They have been getting new equipment like this stretching one. Used it after a workout and had me feeling great!
One of the best gyms in the Downtown Tucson area, and potentially the whole city. The equipment is up to date and never too crowded. Amazing staff that is always friendly and welcoming. 10/10 would recommend this YMCA.
Really stellar YMCA and most of the picture you’ll see are pretty old, before a recent renovation, which makes it all much nicer than I was expecting. I travel a good amount for work out of town and with long stays in different cities I see a big range of equipment, decor, space, people - this is a great gym/fitness center. Machines were easy to use - clean - and not at all crowded. So many to choose from too, so if the one you need is occupied, there are other options for similar muscle groups. Group exercise rooms - stretching room - aerobic exercise room - anaerobic weight training room - and a squash court!!! Highly recommend and the front desk individual on a Saturday AM was very friendly and helpful.
Pros: The machines are new and have USB ports and fans on them. The are numerous treadmills and recumbent bikes to choose from. These are my favorite exercise machines. Plus they have additional different machines available for use. Cons: You have to bring your own basketball for now, but that’s fine. Overall, it’s a great place to exercise.
