I like this place, so close to work & downtown. The water aerobics class is amazing, so fun and the workout is intense. You can workout normally too, but I love the classes, they offer Zumba & Pilates too!!!

I honestly wish I could leave zero stars. I came here on a recommendation to try out their 3-day pass, but the experience was a disaster from the start. One of the staff members originally suggested that I should wait and start my pass on a Monday since the weekend was approaching. I ended up having to leave town, and when I returned to finally try the facilities, they denied me entrance. They claimed my 'trial period' had already expired, even though I had never even stepped foot inside the gym to use it. To make matters worse, the staff member who attended me, Ruth, was extremely rude. Before even speaking to me, I watched him be unnecessarily argumentative with a current member who was just trying to walk in. Seeing how he treated people made my decision very easy. I’ve decided not to get a membership here. I’m heading back to Corpus Christi Athletic Club. In my opinion, that is the best sports club in the city—they have much better, newer equipment and actually treat people with respect. I wanted to give the YMCA a fair chance, but after this experience, I’m done." A few tip

I absolutely love the Aqua Zumba class! It's the highlight of my day. 9am weekdays. The center as a whole is great too. Wonderful people. All the gym equipment needed for a great workout. Great kids camps. A gem in our community.

There’s mold in the steam room and had been there for over a year. And now it’s considered Corpus Christi community center, so if you have a ymca membership you have to pay to go here.

My son attends Francos Pride Boxing Club. Older facility, but it is maintained well. Great summer workout boxing from 6pm to 8 pm
