The price is too high. It is true, that there is a pool, but if you do not need it, then there are other gym in town for half the price. And if you need a hot room (sauna) - there are other, better places for less. Also, there is a "sign-up fee" of $50 or $60, which is ridículos. Especially when you came back in half a year, with your card still hanging on the keychain, and reinstating you takes about 30 second. I wonder where this green comes from? The Y, M, C or A? Or all of the above?

I go here daily and it is amazing, but the pool can be a little disqusting, but otherwise it is the most amazing YMCA I have been too around the country

Over $70 a month for 2 adults is already ridiculous but what's even more petty is this. I had a membership a couple years back and had to pay a joiner fee literally just has much as the membership which is insane, how are you enticing people to join if you want them to pay an extreme amount up front to even sign up? I was thinking about renewing my membership and I called and asked if that joiner fee would still apply- even though I was already a member once. Dude said yes I would have to pay $140 something up front again just to re-join. Absolute ridiculous. How can you act like you are so for the community and have prices that aren't even affordable to 85% of Bloomingtons population. I'm mad and sad. So much for trying to be healthy.

There's a total lack of supervision in the pool and the hot tub with seven kids and a five capacity pool. I told a young lady I need to step down the steps as she’s blocking me from entering the spa. In frustration I told her to have some manners for adults, and she got really lippy with me, and me talking back to her once more without raising my tone got me a one year suspension?? because now they’re saying I flipped off a little girl, and cursed and this is all not true. I did curse while talking to staff, trying to explain myself, and in not any presence of any children, though. Can we have an adults only spa, please???
