YMCA Camp Lyndon holds a permanent place in our hearts. For both my son and daughter, it has been more than just a summer camp—it’s been a home away from home, a place where they’ve grown into more confident, compassionate, and curious versions of themselves. The curriculum is everything you’d hope for as a parent—purposeful, active, and filled with the kind of hands-on experiences that spark creativity, resilience, and joy. But what makes Camp Lyndon truly magical is its people. The counselors and staff are second to none. Three of my grandchildren have been campers at the camp Lyndon, I am very proud of all of the camp counselors . Child was assaulted by another camper and they did not handle it properly to say the least!! Very little control or supervision of children and run by mostly older kids. I asked for documentation I had to ask multiple times the other kid was only suspended for a day although my son had to miss 2 days just to heal. His eye was split open due to a kid intentionally throwing a rock at his face the same camper was also threating other campers with a lunch box but is allowed to stay... Safety, responsibility and professionalism is lacking after paying almost 7000 to send 2 kids. Expensive for very little activity ,lessons or even supervision. Worst experience with a camp. Even when I asked for a call back they call me at 8:45pm when my household is going to bed just very unprofessional. I have 3 kids and tried multiple camps never again I do not recommend camp lyndon.

I believe this is the place I went to back in the late 80's. It was Nature's Classroom in Sandwich Massachusetts. I remember the beach and the road stoped right after it. It was 5 days long and it was like a summer camp with bunks houses and bunk leaders. We went with the school I was attending thin and I was around 11 or 12 at the time. It was one of the best memories I have from my childhood middle school days. Times today are nothing like they were back thin. I wish my kids could experience just half of the things I was able to do win I was full of wonder and endless energy. Man time goes by fast, and things we use to do that were normal are looked down on or even no longer allowed and kids these days are starting to show the results of being sheltered, pampered and always getting what they want win they want it. I was born in 78 and I believe it was some of the BEST years to grow up as a kid.!!!!! Without a doubt
