The Boys & Girls Club of Greater New Bedford runs its Summer Fun Program at 166 Jenney Street, offering physical, recreational and educational activities for boys and girls ages 7–13. The camp runs Monday to Friday, 9:00am–4:00pm across a July-to-late-August season, with extended care available until 5:00pm for $10 a day and field trips scheduled through the summer. Free state-program lunch is offered daily, and campers can bring their own non-refrigerated lunch instead. All participants must be Club members ($50 annual membership) and sessions are $50 per week, charged at the full weekly rate regardless of days attended.

This community center has been a staple in our family's life for generations. My son loves coming here after school to play with friends, practice ball skills, and participate in basketball practice and games. I'm sentimental about this place because my spouse and I also spent time here when we were kids. It's wonderful to see our son creating his own memories here.
My child struggles with ADHD and learning disabilities. The Boys and Girls club is a great outlet for my child to try new things. There are favorites of hers like music room and playing soccer. These activities act as an outlet for her with no expectations. This is a really affordable and great place for children to socialize and just be kids. A few times she came home with crafts made by her. I added some of the crafts in the photos below. I appreciate the staff very much for showing me they care about my daughter. Keep up the great work
The best place on earth it's the only thing I go to after school
One of the best resources for young people in New Bedford!
