My daughter has been attending classes here for almost a full academic year and she absolutely LOVES it. She’s constantly asking me how many days until the next art class. I want her to be creative and enjoy artistic expression, but I’m not always in the space to facilitate it at home. Yellow Bird provides exactly that. She started when she was 5 and she’s become very confident using a hot glue gun (which I would not have thought to introduce to her, but it is so empowering for her and now she enjoys using it at home.) She’s learned to stitch and make pom poms and comes home with all kinds of amazing things that she created herself. I love that she gets creative control in an environment where she has access to all the materials and tools to bring her ideas to life.

My granddaughter absolutely loves her classes at Yellow Bird Studios. Ms. Flore is talented and incredibly kind, patient and supportive. She fosters children’s talents that are often allowed to wane. Even if you aren’t confident that your child has “artistic ability,”please know your child will gain lifelong confidence and skill sets associated with right brain activities. My granddaughter leaves the studio beaming with pride carrying each new work of art.

Five stars doesn’t cut it, my children (and I) are in love! Even more than the fun of making REAL ART, this class inspires my children to think freely and to be more independent. This studio has given them a safe environment to explore a multitude of mediums, styles, and techniques. This place is such a gem. Beautiful space that inspires creativity. My daughter just completed the magical castles camp and she loved it! She learned about structure, planning and even how to sew.
