She set up a time to chat, and I just couldn’t get over how great she handled the situation. Every other business should take note. I’m excited for my daughter to come back and have a second go at a place that clearly cares about its customers and performers. Amending my original rating and giving 5 stars! First I’ll start off by saying this is for the Studio City location. My daughter has been showing an interest in musical theater. We attended a show at the 3rd street location and she feel in love with the program. As did I. We decided to try their week long tots camp and we’re incredibly disappointed. We had saved all summer just to afford it. The teachers were uninterested, and seemingly inexperienced. They spent the majority of the camp on the floor. One day, the camp started 45 minutes late (when parents needed to get to work) and everyone was just standing outside. No one tried to rectify the situation at all. The show put on was absolutely a joke. The kids did mediocre hand motions that made zero sense to performance songs, in front of a horrible back drop in a glorified dance studio. For the cost, it was incredibly disheartening. After all was said and done, we decided not to continue on to their Frozen production, as despite being told it was a production, was going to be more of the same. I called to cancel and get my deposit back, with no return call. Wrote several emails through the app and website. Got the run around. Then they continued to check my daughter into the class she had never attended, sent me photos of other people’s children, AND after all was said and done still had the audacity to send me multiple invoices. Maybe I’m biased. I grew up in a nationally ranked Children’s Theater in Florida. But this... this ain’t it. 0/10 would NOT recommend the studio city location.
