After School Conservatory is a Woodland Hills music school that runs summer day camps, including a Musical Theatre Camp and a Band Camp, in its 3,000-plus-square-foot studio with a small performance stage. Campers are introduced to instruments such as piano, guitar, drums, bass, and voice and work toward an end-of-session performance, helping children discover which instrument they most enjoy. Private lessons and weekly band rehearsals are offered year-round.

All of the practice rooms are clean and well organized, and each instructor my son has worked with has been incredibly knowledgeable (and very patient). My son particularly likes Joey, who teaches Piano as well as Guitar (that I know of). The schedules are incredibly flexible, and I like the credit system they have in place. Basically, you opt out of one of your scheduled appointments and you can then select a new appointment at a different time and date, and even a new instructor! The stamp incentive is great for kids, my son has long been ogling the prizes he could get. It's been a real treat to watch my son learn so much and quickly start to outpace my own musical knowledge. We have yet to go to the recitals or plays but they sound like a lot of fun. Please give these folks a try!

The building is great and has the perfect setup for kids and parents. They send out reminders for your lesson and are so flexible if you need to reschedule.
