Had a fabulous time. Staff are amazing and the aquatic director Vanessa always goes out of her way to help everyone.

The childcare staff could be a little friendlier. I visited yesterday, April 9th (last night) and the teachers were not very welcoming. At one point, I said, “I’m leaving her—” and before I could finish, I was interrupted and told, “Don’t leave yet.” I clarified that I meant I was leaving her jacket on the table, and I was met with an annoyed look. I wasn’t even planning to leave at that moment—I was just trying to explain. I’m not sure if the treatment was because I was on a free trial, but I did end up purchasing a YMCA membership that same night so…. Either way, it’s important to treat people with kindness and respect, especially in a role that involves working with families.

I live in Woodbury but constantly go to White Bear Lake YMCA because it is just a better gym. The gym here is run down, somewhat dirty, and lacking. They have purchased some new machines but you have to pay an extra membership to utilize them. I go to Woodbury YMCA when I just can't make the drive north, it has what you need but you'll probably have to wait for it or find it somewhere else in the gym other than where it should be because others don't always re rack weights.

Did the nu step bike for 20 minutes Legs were hurting, so it was all I could do. I like the fact the track is smaller and they have lots of equipment. It's convenient for my exercise partner and me.
