Powered by GoogleJust moved (back) into town and was excited to join the Y on a family plan with our daughter. The value for what you can access is fantastic! Michelle helped sign us up and was so patient and kind to finish our registration even though it was past closing time (5pm) and above and beyond to then sign our daughter up for swim classes as well (8 classes for $60!!!)
Wilson offers a variety of classes and equipment to help reach your goals. The staff members are helpful, encouraging, and friendly! My only regret is that I didn't join sooner.
A work out can be had here. It needs some TLC. Exercise equipment is good, needs maintenance and cushion repair. Swimsuit "spinner" is perpetually out of order and only located in the shared hallway rather than one in each locker room. Locker rooms are clean--but bleach solution isn't properly diluted and may cause breathing issues. Hot tub is large and hot, but the jets aren't calibrated or something, they just shoot straight up instead of toward the center of the water. It doesn't feel good in your nose or eyes. Almost all the lockers are rented. Should be a max allowance for rented lockers.
The Wilson Family YMCA is one of my family’s go to place to workout and have fun! We love that we can go and there is so much to do and be part of. My partner wakes up early to play basketball. The outside pool is awesome. There are two splash pads, a slide separate from main pool, and a toddler pool. There are also two inside pools and a jacuzzi. Currently my son is attending swim lessons and playing baseball. When we go to workout we leave my seven year old at the kids gym. They are very organized and friendly. It’s is worth the $80 membership especially if you have a a lot of kids. That membership includes two adults and 6 dependents.
A few week ago, on doctors order, My wife insisted that we visit the YMCA to see if there was routine or personal trainer who would be able to help me rebuild my stamina. What we found was a mutli-purpose facility that has more answers than questions. It is a very big place with indoor and out door swimming facilities. It is well laid out multi-purpose facility, and IU am sure that I will benefit from being a member. The answer to all of our questions were yes, and there was no hesitation in working with me at a pace which would be my doctors orders. The only hurdle is me, Motivation is the key my rebuilding health and stamina. I am looking forward to working with the trainers at the YMCA,
