West Seattle Art Nest runs process-based art camps outdoors in Lincoln Park, working under a heated and lit tent surrounded by trees. Campers make forest-creature sculptures, nature prints and watercolor landscapes, and past themes have included Art in Nature (with foraging for materials in nearby woods), Abstract Art and Recycled and Upcycled Art. The organization also runs a kids' art studio and gallery on SW Cambridge Street in West Seattle.

The Art Nest is our daughters fav spot for Art camp. The owners and staff are wonderful and the vibe is super relaxed. Check their calendar for kids events.

Wonderful place..rooms of supplies. Recycled art room. You can bring in toilet paper rolls and bottle caps to donate and be turned into art. Kids are free to create whatever they can think of. Owners are super kind.

Absolutely love taking my daughter here. Tons of different things for her to do. She is free to roam from station to station and get her hands into whatever she wants. Mary is fantastic and makes it feel like home.

So great to see Theresa back in business! Great big back playroom for my 20-month-old, and wonderful art projects for all ages and interests. Very mellow, friendly vibe during open studio. We are so glad to have this fabulous space in West Seattle!
