The West Geauga Recreation Council (founded 1967) runs a nonprofit summer day camp on 15 wooded acres beside West Geauga Middle School in Chesterland for children entering grades K-8. Camp runs 10 weeks (June-August), weekdays 9am-3pm with before/after care, across five themed two-week sessions. Activities include arts and crafts, sports, hiking and lifeguarded swimming in a heated pool, plus cookouts and special guests; families can register by week or by day.
