Privately funded nonprofit youth association founded in 1981 at 1314 Exposition Blvd in west Austin, running summer camps and classes alongside its preschool. WAYA Preschool's Adventure Camp is a child-care summer program for children 24 months through Kindergarten, with arts and crafts, a cooking activity, music class and splash day each week; families enroll for a single week or for all nine weeks of summer. Older children can join WAYA's sports camps, including basketball and the TUSC365 Texas Ultimate Frisbee camp for ages 7-14 of all genders, grouped by age and experience.

★★★★Tom CokerYou can do open gym here which is when you go into the gym and play basketball. If you aren’t a member you have to pay. There are sports but they’re recreational. So the best teams are not going to do good in competitive leagues. Also vending machines for food and drinks. So yeah. Four stars.
★Dave RosenThey seem to have forgotten that what motivates kids is having fun. Lots of pressure and focus on mistakes rather than celebrating along the way. Our kid, and others we know who tried WAYA, wound up burned out and hating the sports they used to enjoy. Add on poor communication, late changes, and high prices. You can do better for your kids than WAYA.
