★Rebecca LopezI have been a member here for over 4 years. I went to workout this afternoon and was informed I have been removed as an active member on my account. I created the account, pay the fee on my card and we have always had a multigenerational family. In laws, disabled family etc. They " changed" the policy so you can only have 2 active adults on the account. We never received any communication about this. I have a disabled person we care for and he is an adult. Why would the YMCA penalize families in this type of situation? As the primary person who opened the account and pays the fees on my account I find this unacceptable. We have better options. In the future Crunch or another gym will be receiving our member ship money. The fact that the desk people have no access to this or to make proper changes to membership is frustrating. It seems that the mission of the YMCA has changed over the years where it is more to squeeze every penny out of you then to actually serve the community.
