Vanderbilt Dyer Observatory runs a full-day Space Science summer camp for academically advanced rising 5th through 8th graders in Brentwood. Campers work alongside research astronomers, learn how telescopes work and build their own, safely view the sun through a solar telescope, build electronics projects, and design and launch bottle rockets. Tuition is $350 per week, and financial aid is available for families who demonstrate need.
