This was my first time here and I loved it (both as an adult and for the kiddos)! Every staff member we met was awesome - they seemed happy to be there and were very engaged with the kids. Some areas were quieter than others, which is great if your kid(s) gets overwhelmed with crowds and noise. The whole place was so fun, interactive, and educational. The best part this visit is that they extended their hours for spring break, which was much needed.

We had an amazing experience at the Adventure Science Center in Nashville, Tennessee! Our family had the best time exploring all three floors of hands-on, interactive exhibits. There is truly something for everyone — kids and adults alike. The museum covers a wide range of topics including the human body, sound and music, space and planets, dinosaurs, science experiments, and STEM learning, all presented in fun, engaging ways. Every exhibit encourages curiosity and learning through play, which kept our kids entertained the entire time. We spent almost three hours working our way through the whole museum, and our kids still didn’t want to leave — a true testament to how engaging it is! Parents may be a little tuckered out by the end, but it’s absolutely worth it. Parking was free and plentiful, which is a huge bonus, and the museum is located in a great, easily accessible area of Nashville. Admission prices are also very reasonable, especially for how much there is to see and do. If you’re looking for family-friendly activities in Nashville, educational fun, or things to do with kids in Middle Tennessee, the Adventure Science Center is a must-visit. We will definitely be back!

If you’re thinking about bringing your kids here, you will probably enjoy it. Lots of inactive exhibit for everyone to enjoy. Dinosaur area was cool, but definitely much smaller than some other major museums I’ve attended. Dinosaurs was probably my favorite because I’m starting to feel like an old fossil. All the kids seemed to be enjoying themselves. That said, the atmosphere in the eye feels much more like Chuck E. Cheese or Discovery Zone where the kids crawl through tunnels. Only a small portion of people I observed seem to be focused on learning.

This review is based solely on the Red, White & Boom event on July 4. We were from out of town, and the Science Center advertised that you could see the downtown fireworks from their lawn. I searched Google reviews prior to purchasing tickets and couldn't find much feedback. The view is horrible. You can barely see a side angle through the trees, and you are pretty far away. Some people left early, so we decided to as well. We had a better view after driving to their exit and an even better view sitting at a stoplight down the road. I felt lied to. I think there was one food truck. We ate inside at Subway. The museum itself is OK. Probably suited best for kids 10 and under. I do not recommend doing Red, White, and Boom. Watching fireworks on a TV would have been more exciting. I'd fight crowds to get a better view before I'd ever do this.
