Vandalia Youth Theatre Company is a nonprofit community musical-theatre program at 698 W. National Road with roughly a 30-year history, drawing about 200 young cast members from 12 to 15 Miami Valley school districts across four productions. Participants are grouped by cast level: Young Performers Camp (pre-K through grade 2), Primary Cast (grades 3-5), Junior Cast (grades 6-8) and Senior Cast (grades 9-12), and every child who auditions is cast regardless of ability or experience. The program provides more than 100 hours of rehearsal and instruction; daily hours are not stated on the listings reviewed.
