Vancouver Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services runs the city's summer day camps, with themed weeks of sports, outdoor games, crafts, swimming, and water activities for ages 6-10 at the Marshall Center and Fircrest Elementary. Structured activities run 9 am to 4 pm with drop-off from 8 am and pick-up by 4:30 pm; aftercare is available at Marshall for an added fee. The department also operates free Summer Playgrounds camps with USDA lunch for ages 6-11 at neighborhood sites, a half-day Kids Climb Camp, and an Access to Recreation camp for teens and adults with cognitive and developmental disabilities. The Everybody Plays! scholarship covers 50% of tuition for eligible participants with disabilities.
The practical details
We list only what the camp itself publishes, and programs change — dates, prices, ages and availability can all move after we check. Confirm the details on the camp’s own website and contact Vancouver Parks & Rec directly before you register or pay. Last checked August 2026.
