Upper Room KC runs a free, eight-week summer academic day camp for Kansas City students entering grades 1–8 (roughly ages 5–13), aimed at preventing summer learning loss in the city's urban core. The day runs 7:30am–6:00pm and combines academic support with recreational enrichment and field trips; breakfast, lunch and a snack are provided daily at no cost to eligible families.
