Unity Dance & Movement is a woman-owned, inclusive dance studio in Bethesda offering full-day summer camps (9:00am-4:00pm, drop-off from 8:30am) for ages 5-10 and a Soar Boot Camp for ages 11-13. Campers explore Broadway, hip-hop and dance-around-the-world themes with field trips to Imagination Stage, KID Museum and Bethesda mural walks. Late pick-up to 5:30pm is available for a fee.

Unity put us in touch with an amazing private teacher who went out of her way not only to choreograph a routine and teach it to my son, but also to make him feel comfortable in his dancing and helping us film it professionally. His progress in just two private classes was phenomenal. He couldn’t do a turn prior to the first class. He was able to perform a pretty complicated routine. The space is also beautiful and everyone is super friendly and goes out of their way to instill the love of dance in you and your kid!

Unity Dance and Movement is a beautiful dance studio owned by the lovely ballerina Jennifer. The studio spaces are professionally setup for training and have a stunning view of bethesda with their floor to ceiling windows. I was absolutely thrilled to find this studio that offers beginner to advanced level classes for ballet, modern dance, hiphop, jazz, tap and more for adults as well as kids! All the teachers are amazing dancers and are so passionate about your growth. I have been attending ballet, modern, and conditioning classes for the last 5 months now and I love this place. Everyone is so welcoming and encouraging to the adult students. All the teachers are so talented and passionate. This women owned small business is a true passion project and I truly hope they grow more and more. Don’t hesitate to check them out! Dance is the best mental and physical workout in my opinion. Thank you Jennifer and all the staff at Unity for creating this beautiful space.
