UNC Greensboro's Summer Music Camp is a large university music camp offering band, mixed chorus, orchestra and piano instruction to students in grades 6-12, taught by UNCG School of Music artist-faculty and visiting conductors. Two one-week sessions run in July, and families choose either a residential option (about $585, including lodging, meals, instruction, health care and recreation) or a day-camp option with meals (about $495). The camp serves roughly 2,000 musicians each summer on the UNCG campus.

This summer camp was great! I went the year before COVID for the first time and it was a great experience. You work hard, and really get the true college experience.
Band camp was so much fun last year (2018). I had so much fun playing at full band, and chilling with my friends at Tate Street. I recommend Smoothie King and Insomnia Cookie. The dorms are nice and the Cafeteria had great food options. I am so going back in 2019 and can't wait. By the way the instructors/director(s) are great!
