The City of Twinsburg's summer day camp, run through the Twinsburg Community Center, serves children ages 6-12 with an active weekly mix of outdoor games, sports, nature walks, arts and crafts, weekly field trips and pool visits. Camp runs Monday-Friday 9 a.m.-3 p.m., with before-care (7-9 a.m.) and after-care (3-6 p.m.) available.

I enjoyed what can be called a weekend at The Ohio Wizard of Oz Festival. The park at that site was rustic and well equipped. I don't think the organizers left anything out. Parking, security, staff, characters, music and much more were all there for the public pleasure. My visit was an experience. At one point not only were we celebrating Oz over the rainbow but we under a real life rainbow as well. Didn't find a pot of gold but it is true....there is no place like home.

Everyone with whom I had contact was warmly cheerful and gracious. The facility itself was sparkly clean. There is a printed form of the monthly calendar which lists and explains the MANY activities offered during the month. I am very favorably impressed with all aspects of this community center.
