Powered by GoogleDisappointing. Whoever worked this evening and closed the gym Monday June 22. Is SO RUDE. Talks to people horribly. I would never recommend this place.
Disappointing and inconvenient hours compared to other branches; The management is completely dismissive of complaints and highly defensive when faced with criticism I really want to love this YMCA branch, but their operating hours are incredibly frustrating and make no sense for working people. Closing at 2:00 PM on both Saturday and Sunday is way too early, and closing at 8:00 PM on weekdays doesn't leave much time either. Other YMCA branches have much more flexible hours that actually support their members. It feels like the schedule here doesn't take the community's needs into account at all. I hope management considers extending these hours soon
I absolutely love the Aquafit class with Dawn. The music and low impact exercises are so much fun. And the ladies in the class are so sweet and welcoming, its worth my 30 minute drive.
The basketball area is my favorite! The kids seem to have an amazing time and I like that its not too many kids in there at once. The staff is very nice and helpful! They need to wipe the equipment down more often. Its just not clean enough for me. The kids toys in the day care are dirty, You can see the dirt. We’ve only gone twice and now my Kid has a cold. The women’s showers are not clean! The floor looks dirty I wouldn’t dare take my shoes off in there.
If you expect to have a place to stretch when you work out, do not go to this location. There used to be a corner with a table the personal trainers use, but they moved it and stuck some weight machines there, so if you go any time besides 6am when they open there will be no room for you. The floors and equipment are rarely clean aside from where the members wipe them down after using them. Machines and amenities break and take months to be fixed. Today, Tyler the personal trainer was incredibly rude and inconsiderate. When I tried to use the studio to stretch he got confrontational because he was "teaching" a class of TWO PEOPLE and insisted he needed the entire 1000+ sq.ft. studio for those TWO PEOPLE. When I brought this to the attention of the front desk I was waved off. The girl checking people in wouldn't even look up from her computer to acknowledge my complaint, so I doubt anyone else will hear it in management. We are seriously reconsidering our membership based on how this location treats its full-paying members. The only upside to this location is the cardio machines are newer than other nearby Y locations, but for having 6 TV's on the walls only 2 of them are ever on.
