When I was there, we were constantly encouraged to go to dance conventions, competitions, ballet workshops, nationals, acting classes... etc! Anything that would help you grow as a dancer. It is rare that you find that in a studio. Turning Pointe isnt interested in your money or the business of it all, but genuinely interested in people and their love for dance. Another favorite of mine, is Turning Pointe's innovation. Mrs. Elaine's (and staffs) choreography is constantly evolving to keep up with the times and to even set the trend. Teachers at other studios have been using the same choreography for 20+ years and its uninspiring. Mrs. Elaine is simply a creator and her choreography is always phenomenal. Let me just say, if you start dancing at this studio, Turning Pointe will become your new home. I have found some of my best friends here and still go back to the studio to visit!
