Greater Los Angeles Area Council Boy Scouts
Trask Scout Reservation is a Scouting camp property in Monrovia Canyon operated by the Greater Los Angeles Area Council of Scouting America. On-site facilities include a swimming pool, a recreation hall for games and films, an amphitheatre for campfire programmes, a historic fort and shooting ranges, and the grounds are crossed by a year-round stream. Camping and programme events at the site are booked through the council's online event calendar and registration system, and Scouting America A/B/C medical forms plus a campership (financial assistance) application are linked from the camp page. The camp is at 1100 N. Canyon Blvd., Monrovia, and the council camping administrator can be reached at (213) 273-8902.

★★★★★Juan MunozCamp Trask was amazing. Mr. Ed was kind and warm and has great taste in music. The scenery was beautiful and majestic. Our scout troop/pack had the opportunity to go and clean up some debris off the sides of the road. We will definitely be going back eventually.
★★★★Peter BrassardEven though Camp Trask got hit hard by that flood. Troop 351 and others are it getting it back up to shape. When my Troop ( Troop 351 lead by Susan Hensley) went last summer, the pool seem to be fixed up like it was brand new. The snack shack also was filled with tons of goodies. Although it may seem that the camp is fully fixed up, some parts need some work. The bridge from the main building to the campsite is still flooded by the stream. The dining hall is still boarded up. Even without all the wonderful help, the sunrise is still beautiful there.
★★★★★Chester ChuaCamp Trask is a gem in rough. Situated in the foothills a few minutes from the city. It gives the feel of forest camping. It has a camp area. Shooting area. Chapel. Swimming area. Restrooms. Sadly the forest fires damaged some of the facility in 2022. Damaged area has recovered some but needs more. Hoping that this camp doesn't close for the sake of future scouts. Pls help support!
★★★★★cuiqing wangMy kids are having lifesaving merit badge here. A lot of merit badge classes are going on this week. There is a stream crossing the campsite. It’s a beautiful place to getaway for the chaos. Bring in your own drinking water and gears. Be very careful when you drive up and down the hills. The road is paved, but very narrow for one car to pass only. So make sure you follow ranger’s directions.
