★★Megan MirkesI wanted to leave a review on their individual Toca training. I’m a lifelong Madisonian and soccer player myself. I was looking for additional training for my child outside of their club soccer. The individual training is a great way for your child to get a ton of touches on the ball with each session. Their training staff has a lot of turnover (as they get college players coming in and out) and it can take a little bit to find someone that jives with your kid. We were able to find some trainers that we liked. However, I would give caution to parents on the administrative side of things (with contracts and scheduling). You have to be very diligent about your contract date as they mishandled my contract, scheduling a session outside of the turnover date, and were ready to charge me for an extra session even though it wasn’t my mistake. They mishandled giving me a new contract after my child came back from an injury. And finally, if your child is sick and you don’t give them more than 24 hours notice, you will eat the cost of the session. Even though this is the middle of respiratory season in WI… Depending on how many sessions per month you have signed up for, this can be roughly $100 lost. I would totally understand eating the cost if we forgot about an appointment or we were careless people — we called as soon as we found out my child was sick from school. But even after being in their training program for a year without any missed sessions, they weren’t willing to offer any exceptions to reschedule. That was probably the last straw on the camels back that broke me. So again, this is a great program, but unfortunately, we had a poor experience with the office staff. From one parent to another, use caution.
