Rush Wisconsin Soccer Club

I'm glad to see a reviewer finally calling out Rush WI leadership. I have 2 girls at 56ers and my son remains at Rush WI because he wanted to play with friends, but we are moving him too. His team is absolutely terrible, and they have not improved all year. I'd be happy if they showed some development based on quality coaching, but they might be getting worse. My son is so frustrated he wants to quit soccer altogether. Many of the other parents feel the same, but Rush WI doesn't want to hear our feedback. So parents just leave, which is why turnover is so high. RE: the director's comments, other clubs (like 56ers) make adjustments given WI's weather, and always try to get practices in (including the other night with "potential storms"). Also, the UW Health "partnership" is questionable at best. The board president is the COO of UW Health and Rush WI pays them a fortune to use their weightlifting facilities during a few sessions in the winter, but they won't pay for turf time when the grass fields are wet. Seems like a conflict to me. Overall, this is an expensive, low-quality club. There are so many better options in the area, Forward, 56ers, and the community clubs.

This was our daughter’s first year moving to Rush from a club she played with for years. It was hard to leave all of her friends, but we knew right away it was the right decision for her. The coaching, the players, the parents all so welcoming and genuinely there for the same reasons - to see the players improve, compete, and have some fun. In just one year with the club, our daughter’s soccer skills have grown exponentially as a result of both great coaching and the number of touches she gets over year-long training. She loves her team and this club! Thank you to all of the Rush staff for providing her with this amazing experience!
