Tinker Art Studio
Private
Boulder art studio running half-day summer camps for ages 3.5-16 across three Boulder County sites: its South Boulder studio in the Table Mesa Shopping Center, the adjacent Clay Hub, and Coal Creek Elementary. Camps are either medium-based - realistic drawing, acrylic painting, printmaking, glass art, wheel throwing - or theme-based, with weeks built around subjects like jewelry making, dragon sculpting and dinosaurs. Families can build a full day by registering for a morning camp, an afternoon camp and the Lunchtime Artists Club.
The practical details
We list only what the camp itself publishes, and programs change — dates, prices, ages and availability can all move after we check. Confirm the details on the camp’s own website and contact Tinker Art Studio directly before you register or pay. Last checked August 2026.

Powered by GoogleWhat a fun place for kids to create and bond through art! Our 5YO really enjoyed a birthday party here and we can't wait to come back. Absolutely love this idea and place. Endless parking, too, a fun surprise in Boulder. Thanks, Tinker Art!
Tinker is amazing. The activities are great and all the staff super nice. My daughter wants to go on every school day off. It's a wonderful place.
I love Tinker! I didn’t get into art until I was an adult and I’ve never felt awkward or uncomfortable as a novice at Tinker. I’ve tried many of the classes for adults at this point: Intro to Acrylics, Intro to Oils, Community Paint, and Life Drawing. All are excellent and so welcoming! Grey and Erica are fantastic teachers, always motivating and providing constructive yet positive feedback. I’ve become a painter because of Tinker and highly recommend it to anyone, regardless of skill level, if you have an interest.
Had a super fun time on Friday "painting sunflowers" with my wife! We had a great instructor, and lot of fun with the other artists!
I ordered a few craft kits for the holidays and was thrilled to see the presentation of them when I picked them up. Each kit was in its own bag with paints and instructions. These will make great gifts!
