Award-winning nonprofit theatre company founded in 1995 in downtown Carbondale, running a year-round season plus youth and adult theatre classes, a Theatre for Young People strand, comedy improv, a Latino Theatre Initiative and school outreach performances. Youth engagement is delivered through classes, school programs and productions across the year; the youth camps staged in this building (such as middle-school costume and tech camps) are run by the separate SoL Theatre Company, which uses Thunder River as a venue.
