TYKEs (Theatre Young Kids Enjoy) runs KidStage, a full-day theater camp at the JCC in Brighton for kids entering grades 3 through 6, held over the final four weeks of summer. Two of the weeks have campers brainstorm, write, and perform an original play in a single week; the other two have them collaborate on a scripted play to build acting skills. The camp pairs theater work with a full day-camp experience including daily swimming, and before- and after-camp care is available. TYKEs has staged children's stories and fairy tales with professional adult actors since 2004.
