My high school aged son wanted to take acting lessons, but I couldn’t find any in our area (Midwest). I went online and couldn’t be more pleased with The Young Actor’s Studio! My son was able to schedule lessons around his busy teenage life, and he gained the knowledge and confidence to try out for his very first audition—and get the part! He went from being a shy, awkward socializer to gaining the confidence to audition and act in his very first play thanks to The Young Actor’s studio. As a parent, there is nothing better than watching your kid find his talent, and Andrew and The Young Actor’s Studio helped facilitate that. I highly recommend this school for anyone interested in casual dabbling or hoping to make a profession out of acting.

There are endless positive things I can say about the Young Actors Studio and my time here. It's a place that is truly dedicated to teaching their students, it is very evident how much all the instructors love to do what they do. The classes are always so fun and enjoyable. The environment they have created has always felt comfortable. They also have such great flexibility with their group classes and private coaching that allows me to schedule and attend classes when it works for me. This is truly such a great place, I would give it a billion stars if I could!

I loved my time at the Young Actor's Studio!! The instructors are incredible and make the classes a place where young actors can grow and learn technique. I was always excited to attend my upcoming classes! Andrew is very encouraging and never judges, making it a safe place for everyone. Out of all the acting classes I have taken, this one is by far my favorite.

My son absolutely loves The Young Actors Studio. The instructor is amazing! My son took his classes online and he flourished and came out of his shell. Not only has he become really great with learning his lines and working with his partners but it’s also shaped him into the young man he is slowly becoming. More confident and very outgoing. Not afraid to go out and try new things. Honestly the studio and the instructors helped in more ways than they know. I’m so thankful in more ways than one.

I don't think there's another place like the Young Actor's Studio in LA. Maybe even the whole west coast. I started coming here three years ago, incredibly anxious to perform. I actually missed the first two classes because I was so nervous. The staff helped me through my fears as they do with everyone-- they're all so very kind. It's been my favorite place to be ever since. The studio offers acting classes for children through adults, as well as a 'writing lab' for teens and one for adults. Now, I've written 3 full original plays under the teaching of the studio's writing teacher-- Andrew Schafer, and I've been in countless original productions and performances. No place has the same level of creative freedom as this place. It's a place for young artists to grow and to call their home. I highly recommend it to anyone who has an interest in acting and/or storytelling.
