We are new to this YMCA and on day 2 my child run 4 feet away from me to get his pizza and hit his mouth in the counter of the food concesión. He cut his lip and was bleeding for 20 minutes. We were 15 feet away from the reception area where 4 people were working but apparently nobody noticed a screaming bleeding child. I had to run to them and say: I need some help here. Is there a nurse? 3 people moved us to another room and we got a bag with ice. No first aid kit, no tissue to clean his blood. I had to find everything and figure it all out. The next day I asked a reception person if there are first aid kits. Her answer: the most important thing for us is that the parents supervise the child. Yes there are first aid kits. No nurse on site and a very poor response to a minor emergency.

My wife and I love the YMCA. Such great facilities and exercise classes. My wife has been taking many different ones and they are all included in the membership. Great indoor track above the basketball courts. Indoor Golf Simulators. Full gymnasium. 3 pools. The YMCA at the Piscataway Community Center (YPCC) is a large, modern facility offering extensive health, fitness, and recreational programs for all ages, including an aquatic center, fitness center, gymnasium, indoor track, and studios for group exercise, dance, and art. It provides a wide range of activities like swim lessons, sports, and a Teen Center, along with childcare and event hosting options, serving as a central hub for community wellness and activities in Piscataway, NJ

Its a great gym for family and all ages. Plenty of free parking. Spacious changing and bathrooms for kids, family, and adult separation. Love the indoor pool and outdoor splash park. Place is well maintained and clean. Staff are strict on safety. Kids are removed if parents are unable to manage kids in following rules. Everyone here wants to enjoy a good, fun workout in a safe and positive environment.

This place is fantastic for working out, offering top-notch equipment that truly stands out. The administration is incredibly supportive and ensures that you find exactly what you need to achieve your fitness goals. The variety of indoor and outdoor activities is impressive, especially the kids' water park, which adds a fun element for families. Plus, there's plenty of parking available, and the inviting cafeteria in the lobby is a great spot to relax and refuel after a workout. Highly recommend!

If you want your child to learn swimming properly, do NOT send them here! The schedule is unreliable, and the instructors change so often that I have to check who is teaching every single time. The instructors are unprepared for the lessons, and it always feels like they are scrambling to find replacements. With such frequent changes, my child isn’t able to learn anything effectively. In my opinion, the young age of the instructors makes them seem even more irresponsible. While this may not apply to all instructors, the Wednesday Level 5 instructor for my child’s class was the worst I’ve encountered at this facility. This is the first time I’ve seen a swimming instructor teach without getting into the water! Over seven lessons, my child had three different instructors, and none of them spent any time in the water during the 45-minute lessons. As a result, we decided to finish this session and move to a different facility. The manager overseeing these swimming lessons needs to evaluate the instructors and establish a more structured system for the program! Parents, don’t be fooled by the clean facility and the promise of 45-minute lessons. Don’t waste your time and money here!
