The Submarine School of Music runs week-long summer music camps for kids, including a Submarine Singers camp for ages 8-14 that meets 9:00am-12:00pm and covers vocal technique and harmony before a family performance on the final day, and a Rock and Roll Orff camp for ages 4-7 in which campers learn through the Orff method, form a band, and perform at the end of the week. The school is at 1500 S. Clinton Avenue in Rochester and also offers instrument lessons, group classes, workshops, and community performances. Tuition is offered on a sliding scale.

Powered by GoogleMy son has loved taking piano lessons at the Submarine School; everyone is so friendly and it is a low-pressure atmosphere. He looks forward to his weekly lessons and truly enjoys his time there!
We love the Submarine School! Our son is in the baby class Good Day Sunshine which we lovingly call "Baby Band." He and I BOTH love it! We have so much fun in class with our teacher, Katie, and with the other families. It's a great community!
All of the teachers at this music school are so talented musically, and they are wonderful with kids, too! Their patience, innovation, collaboration, and creativity has been so engaging for my daughters. We couldn’t be happier with the music education here.
What a great experience the Submarine School has been for our two kids. It inspires them in new ways, and it connects them with positive young musical mentors. All their instructors have been professional and kind to my young budding musicians.
My daughter absolutely loves Submarine School of Music! All the teachers have such a great way of making learning fun. She got to play and learn a wide array of instruments. She took lessons and learned to play independently, but also collaborated with other children during a really fun Beatles themed camp. I can’t say enough great things about the school or the teachers. Simply, the best!
