The Sparrow Project runs Sparrow Summer, a creative arts-based day camp in Shelburne held at Trinity Episcopal Church for children entering kindergarten through 8th grade. Across four weekly July sessions (9:00am–3:00pm), campers explore art, writing, crafts, theater, storytelling, games, and neighborhood adventure walks in small, age-based groups, with a new theme each week. Scholarships and financial assistance are available.

We list only what the camp itself publishes, and programs change — dates, prices, ages and availability can all move after we check. Confirm the details on the camp’s own website and contact The Sparrow Project directly before you register or pay. Last checked August 2026.

Powered by GoogleI highly recommend The Sparrow Project! Chloe has created such a wonderful, caring, supportive space for children to explore and build confidence. Our son did Sparrow this Spring and he came home every day so happy and already asking when the next Sparrow would be. He loved the art, theater games and all of the engaging activities. The Sparrow Project has helped him build confidence and explore new parts of himself and we are so grateful that he has been able to be part of it. He can't wait for camp this summer!!
I cannot say enough about this wonderful program!!! Chloe breathes color and fun into the class that makes me want to stay and do the class myself! She is such a skilled and gentle leader, and is very talented in making the class absolutely magical for the kids. My child cannot wait for the days she has Sparrow. My hopes for her were to boost her confidence and help her find her voice, and to be confident without me with her - she has far exceeded my hopes and has absolutely bloomed in this program.
During the summer of 2022, my 7-year-old spent weeks on the beach on the Cape, spent 2 weeks in California foraging for mushrooms and learning about surfing and petting horses and playing with grandparents. She went to the famous Birch Aquarium, the San Diego Zoo, Santa's Village, Train Town, and even went to Disneyland. But her favorite part of the summer? Sparrow Camp. (While sitting on Pirates of the Caribbean, she half paid attention to the ride while telling her grandparents that she was sad that she was missing Sparrow that day.) Sparrow is pure magic. It is the epitome of fun and creativity and psychological safety. Chloe is kindness and joy personified. She meets each kid where they are, honors who they are, and makes sure they feel safe enough to use their voice and shine. For my high anxiety child, camp is a huge challenge; getting out of the car the first day is an emotional circus. But each and every time, Chloe greets her there, gives her time, draws her out, lets her set the pace. There's no rush, no shame, no pressure. Just the knowledge that, when she does decide to come play, Chloe and her Sparrow magic will be waiting.
I truly can't say enough amazing things about the Sparrow Project! My two daughters and son came home every day after Sparrow and were talking a mile a minute about the fun activities they did together. The looked forward to each and every class. I appreciated the fact that Chloe was attentive to their personal and developmental needs as well. Chloe is truly a gift and The Sparrow Project is a treasure. I am excited to have my kids sign up for next session and the summer camps. Thanks for everything!
Sparrow Camp is such an awesome journey for kids. My daughter has been a part of both the camp for kids (2 years in a row) and the after school classes. She normally hems and haws to do any activity but never with Sparrow. She loved it from day 1. Chloe set up such an incredible warm and welcoming environment and she always asks when she can go back. I can highly recommend this class and Chloe specifically as an en engaging and loving teacher and guide of children.
