The Sofia is the Sacramento home of B Street Theatre, whose Studio for Young Actors runs summer camps for ages 6-17 in one- and two-week sessions taught by professional teaching artists. Campers work on acting, dance, and theatre games, with junior sessions for ages 6-8 and a two-week teen session for ages 13-17.

Nice little bar for refreshments. I also want to give a Shout Out to the Staff. They've always been nice and pleasant. Very patron oriented!

The theater has quite a slope which means no matter how tall the person in front of you is, you still have an an unobstructed view. But it does mean your vantage point is rather high up. So lower down seats are still preferable.

The room has great natural light and a patio deck attached as well! Tables, chairs, a sound system, and bar options are all available for rent, and more! The staff is beyond helpful with planning and set up. Check out their website for all the available rentable spaces. The price was super reasonable, especially for the great location! I definitely recommend using the Sofia for your next event.
