Powered by GoogleMy family and I have been members of the Kroc Center for over 10 years, and it is disappointing to say that the atmosphere and customer service have declined significantly. As a long-time member, I’ve always appreciated what the Kroc Center stands for as a Salvation Army and Christian-based organization. Unfortunately, our recent experiences have not reflected those values. One of the first things we encounter when arriving is a maintenance employee whose demeanor consistently comes across as rude and unwelcoming. During one visit, an interaction involving my teenage daughter left me feeling uncomfortable and concerned as a parent. In addition, the front desk staff no longer provide the warm greetings and welcoming environment we once experienced. Over our last several visits, we have rarely been greeted with a smile or made to feel valued as members. The check-in experience has also become unpleasant. One particular employee often appears irritated when members approach to scan their IDs. Questions are met with short responses, there is little to no friendliness, and the overall interaction feels like an inconvenience to him. Customer service should never make members feel unwelcome. My family has invested a significant amount of time and money into this facility over the past decade. We have supported the Kroc Center because we believed in its mission and community values. Sadly, the repeated negative interactions with staff have reached a point where we no longer look forward to visiting and are seriously considering not returning. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and works to restore the welcoming, family-oriented environment that made the Kroc Center such a special place for so many years.
5/2026 Really nice facilities and recreation area for families in the area who buy in. Go take a peak. The little cafe serves food too. The chicken wasn't bad at all! Venue is available to rent as well. 😉👎
Very well kept facility. Conveniently located in Kapolei. I enrolled my kids in the swim classes and the instructors are very patient and helpful. The membership fee can be high but there is a significant discount if you're military or if you work for certain local companies. You need to register in person with your military or company ID to get the discount.
We’ve really loved being members at the Kroc Center. The facility is always so clean, organized, and well maintained, and the staff has consistently been kind and welcoming every time we’ve been there. We love the food area, I personally love using the gym, and my husband, kids, and I all really enjoy the pool and water area. The kids have also had such a great experience with the sports clinics and activities. It’s just such a positive, family-friendly environment overall, and you can tell a lot of care goes into the facility and programs. We’re very grateful to have such a wonderful family facility here on Oahu.
This is not just a community center. But a worship center and church. We have church service 8am and 10am on Sundays. We have child services at 10am service, come and worship with us
