The school policy for make up lessons is absolute crap . We pay close to $2,500 for lessons for my daughter (pigeonholed into a 9-month contract since they don't allow anything else). We must pay a registration fee each time we reenroll her which to me makes no sense, I understand having to pay an enrollment fee for the first time, but when you've been there for years, I feel it is just unnecessary. The teacher can call out whenever they are sick or something comes up in their life, but if your child is sick there is no leniency and you forfeit the pre-paid lesson. You are only allowed 1 make-up lesson (and every single time they offer a make up date/time its one that doesn't work for us at all, but that doesn't seem to matter ). I asked to be provided additional dates since my child has a concert rehearsal the day of the lesson (I provide at least a 2 day heads up, most of the time if it’s something I am aware of I try to give at least a week) and the only dates they offer are days that she has martial arts, (the response to this is usually sorry thats all we have to offer - they don't work with you at all on dates that actually work for you. To them its a free paycheck for a lesson they don't need to do). I understand there are lots of children to accommodate, but I feel either you shouldn’t be pigeonholed into such a lengthy contract with only 1 day of “excused absence” or I should be able to be refunded for the days missed if I provide a 2 day – 1 week heads up in advance. This means that because my child has a music rehearsal for a concert we are now punished. If she is sick – o well, you can pay for a class you are unable to attend or just send her in sick to make everyone else sick. If we want a family vacation, o-well guess you’re paying more money for a class that cannot be attended. Someone is in the hospital – o-well guess you’re just handing money over for nothing again. Literally any time anything comes up or is prescheduled for the day our lessons fall on I am forced to make the decision to either forfeit a pre-paid class (which isn’t cheap) or just not meet our other obligations….again I understand lots of children to work around but at that point the semesters should be on a month to month basis (allowing life to happen) or at least a 3 month period…9 months and only one make-up lesson with children is absolutely absurd, I pay too much money to not allow any type of accommodation at all, even if it’s a virtual lesson or a double lesson…I feel there are definitely solutions, they just don't care to provide any. I think this will be our last semester with this school since they don’t seem to care about students and family, only profits.

A wonderful place to learn and experience music, from the youngest child through adulthood. As an adult student, I've had lessons with the best performance, theory, and music history teachers and have developed my musical knowledge and, hence musical enjoyment, tremendously.

I have been studying violin here for the past year, and have nothing but good things to say about them. In addition to lessons, they offer multiple concerts each month. A great place for music enthusiasts!
