My daughter is THRIVING at this studio! We have finally found a place where she is recognized, challenged, and pushed to her highest potential. The staff is so responsive and kind. The instructors are protective, fair, and provide such an amazing space for young dancers to learn!

I am dance instructor and my team and I attended Leap dance competition along with this studio and the way my students were treated over the weekend not only by the the movement project students but their parents as well! Kids damaging property of others and parents verbally degrading a child continuously throughout the weekend. A parent made a disturbing false accusation towards one of my students resulting in an adult male grabbing her and refusing to let her go which is completely inappropriate and unacceptable!! Another parent, harassed one of our parents to make more false claims about her child. Neither parent showed any kind of remorse or empathy for the clear emotional distress they caused. If is this is the kind of behavior accepted at the movement project, I would not recommend any parent to send their child to the dance studio as they have showed no kind of positive sportsmanship, or inclusivity. Only disrespect and discrimination. If I could rate this place 0/5 stars, I WOULD! Disgusting!

While we had a few enjoyable moments, this was ultimately one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve had with a dance team. The environment felt unwelcoming and, at times, disrespectful, with a noticeable lack of professionalism, fairness, and sportsmanship. This was a weekend-long event, and the disrespect from this team began on day one and continued throughout, which made the overall experience even more disheartening. The behavior we encountered from this specific team was unacceptable. What made the situation even more concerning was how it was handled. The response from venue security was unprofessional and did not help de-escalate or properly address what occurred. The treatment toward one dancer was not only isolating but emotionally harmful, and the impact extended beyond that of just the individual dancer but our younger dancers were affected as well. Experiences like this can leave lasting impressions, and no child should feel unsafe or singled out in a space meant to uplift and support them. Additionally, our space was violated and personal items were damaged, which further added to the distress of the situation. I truly hope leadership takes this seriously and reflects on how students and families are treated, because no one should have to endure an experience like this!

The best . My daughter has thrived here since age 2, and continues to grow as a dancer. The owner and staff love these kids like their own. Their passion for dance show through the beautiful dances performed by MPDC. My dancer feels this studio is her second home, and her friends there are more like family. Thank you MPDC !

This was one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve ever had with a dance studio. The environment felt unwelcoming and, at times, outright disrespectful. There was a clear lack of professionalism, fairness, and basic sportsmanship toward dancers. What stood out the most was the uncomfortable and biased treatment that made it hard to feel included or valued. Dance is supposed to be a space that uplifts and supports everyone, but this studio failed to create that kind of environment. I would strongly encourage leadership to take a serious look at how they treat students and families, because no one should have to deal with this kind of experience.
