Powered by GoogleTerrific studio and staff! Been taking my kid here for a few years. This is the type of business where you become like family. The owner is kind, helpful and always willing to work with a parent. The teachers are very knowledgeable and fun. My kid has made great friends with other fellow art kids. The art my kid has created throughout the years has become so impressive. They aren't a crafty art studio, this is a real art studio. The teach history, and about artists, they even help some of the older kids get portfolios together for art schools and college. The studio just recently moved, just 4 doors down, to a bigger space and it's terrific! I'm constantly recommending the studio to parents, especially in the summer with the art camps. Worth every penny!!
Great art classes for children. Sarah is extremely talented and helpful. My kids have been enjoying the classes and mastering their art skills here.
I went here as a student and had the best connection with every teacher there. Sarah really has put her all into this studio and her staffing. If you ever consider taking your child here this is definitely the right spot. I had a hard time in high school making friends and I met so many cool kids who accepted me as their friend. I am now moved away but think about Sarah, Edgar, and Adam (if they all still work there) every day and wish the absolute best for them and the studio. Not only did I improve art wise but socially and mentally I felt at home there. I can never thank Sarah and her team enough for making my worst years of my life the best ones. I have graduated and living my best life and think about her impact on my life quite often years later :)
WOW, I spent weeks searching for the 'right' art class for my 10-year old Granddaughter. Sarah King responded immediately and answered all my questions, on multiple emails. I 'felt' this was the 'right' learning environment. After her first class with Edgar, Bel was so excited and eager to continue. Edgar spent time with her explaining 'how to' draw... sounds basic, but as it turns out, isn't. Her dog portrait was pretty good for first try. After second class with Sarah, Bel told me, "Nana, I love art class, can I go every day?" Well, her next chosen project is a portrait of her and her Mom and so far, looks amazing. Sarah King has a truly nurturing and nourishing energy and it is palpable in the studio, other students, and other teachers, who share that they started with Sarah as children. After Bel's second class she drew a picture of her at softball, from her phone. Annabel and Nana are so very grateful for the gift of King Art Studio.
The King Art studio may not be for every one but if your child has an interest in drawing, painting, drafting, or art in any way they will love it. Guaranteed. Sarah, Adam, Ed and all the teachers run the place well it's always full of happy faces! Also I highly recommend the theme summer camps but they do fill up quickly!
