Really fun place for your toddler. My 1.5 year old really enjoys it.

My child loved it here but you can tell payment is the only priority for this establishment! My child started in the middle of the month initially and I was never given a prorated amount or anything. I also had sessions that were paid for before leaving and was never contacted to see if either I wanted to reschedule or be reimbursed.

I love this place so much. Wonderful business in every way. Very happy to take my daughter here for gymnastics. Everyone is friendly and the kids love everything about it. It's very clean and they are great with kids. I recently took my daughter for their spring break camp and the experience was everything it should be. I had zero worries about my daughter from drop-off to pickup. I'm so grateful for finding this business. We drive 40 minutes each way and gladly do so. Best children's facility I've ever been to hands down.

As a mother, grandmother, and pediatric nurse, I think this is an amazing place for my grandchildren! The staff are positive, engaging, and truly great with kids. The equipment is top-notch and appropriate for children of all ages. As a pediatric nurse, I’m especially mindful of germs, so cleanliness really matters to me. This is one of the cleanest gyms I’ve seen. I’ve personally watched the staff wiping down mats and cleaning the floors after class, which I really appreciate. My grandchildren always leave happy—and a little less energetic! I highly recommend this gym.

March 2026 - The Kid's Gym in Briar Chapel review Overall, this is a below-average kids' facility. While we wanted to like this gym, our experience was disappointing on multiple levels: Facility & Atmosphere: The equipment is showing significant signs of wear and tear. The waiting area is tiny and becomes extremely crowded and uncomfortable during transition times. Furthermore, the ventilation is poor; the air inside the gym and the lobby never feels fresh and often smells stuffy. Instruction Quality: The coaches are all young adults who seem to lack proper educational skills or experience with child development. For the 3–5 year old age group, there is almost no real engagement. The classes follow a basic "show and repeat" approach rather than actually teaching or motivating the children. Management & Billing: This was the most frustrating part of our experience. My son woke up with a stomach bug on March 1st. I emailed to cancel our enrollment at 6:57 AM - well before business hours - to stop the new month's charge. Lack of Flexibility: The owner, Lauren, acknowledged she received my email before the auto-pay went through but refused to refund the tuition, claiming the payment was already "initiated". Health Concerns: The gym itself had just closed a week prior due to a "significant staff shortage" caused by a stomach bug. Despite this, they showed zero flexibility or empathy when my son fell ill with the same symptoms immediately after his last class. They clearly prioritize strict, automated billing policies over customer relationships and facility maintenance. If you are looking for an engaging, well-ventilated, and customer-focused environment for your child, I would strongly suggest checking out the newly opened Unify Athletics in Pittsboro instead.
