The Fastball Academy is an indoor, climate-controlled baseball and fastpitch training facility at 505 Hwy 69 N in Lone Oak, opened in fall 2023 with six fully equipped cages, pitching machines and instructors drawn from select coaches and current and former college players. Its camps are short skills clinics rather than week-long summer sessions: the listed Beginners Pitchers & Catchers camp runs two days at $50, with fastpitch 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. and baseball 2:30-4:30 p.m., aimed at athletes just starting to pitch or catch. The facility is open weekday evenings and weekend afternoons, and also offers individual and team cage rentals and memberships.
