The Nixon Centre is Coweta County's performing and visual arts venue in Newnan, and runs two kinds of summer camp for ages 6-17. Its Musical Theatre Camp spends the week rehearsing a short musical, building singing, acting and dancing skills, and ends with a live performance for family and friends on the final day. Its Art Camp has campers paint, draw and build with no prior experience required. The centre opened in 2004 and serves both Coweta County School System students and the general public.
