Powered by GoogleWe have loved Dance Conservatory. My son was on 4 dance teams this year. Emily was great about working with my son, caring for his needs during the year. Dance Conservatory has built a great team. They care about the children, the music they dance to, the costumes they use. As a parent I don't have to worry about my son being exposed to inappropriate costumes, moves, or music. Emily and Annette are so great to work with. The are amazing at communicating with parents and students. We are coming back for another year of dance.
I have been dancing here for three years after doing jazz for 10. While also being completely different in styles, the atmosphere is very different in a great way. Dance Conservatory encourages is to become friends with all of our teammates, including people on the other teams. Emily does a great job coaching, so we'll that most of our teams place in the top three in our divisions. We do well at competitions, but that isn't the main focus, having fun is! I enjoy dancing and this is a great outlet from all the stress of daily life.
My daughter joined Dance Conservatory last year at the recommendation of a family that has been in the dance community for many years. They did not lead us astray. We have been impressed with how dedicated the owners are to not just teaching dance but contributing to the overall success of each student. They care so much about these kids. The costumes are beautiful and tasteful. The quality of teaching is fantastic. My daughter has completely fallen in love with ballroom dance and we can’t wait to continue on for years to come with Dance Conservatory.
I have been dancing here for 5 years and it is a great environment to be in. Winning is great but they don't get mad if we get last place. All the people are amazing and fun to be around. We go to all sorts of competitions and it is a really great place to bond with old and newly made friends. Emily our dance instructor and choreographer works for hours and hours to find great music and to cut it to fit the dance. She does an amazing job with helping new dancers to learn the steps. Annette the studio owner works countless hours for months to fix up the costumes and to make reservations and to figure out any problems or even anything in general. I will really miss dancing when I graduate in two years.
Annette and her Family are Class Acts! When my children participated in the Workshop last year, I loved that Emily had high expectations and encouraged the kids to learn the dances quickly. She showed great confidence in their abilities to listen and learn. I am also amazed at how well organized the performances are. The students always know where to be and what to do. Annette is also very understanding that people have lives outside of dance. Although she has high expectations and expects her students to show up and be responsible, she does not demand too many practices. The Dance Conservatory is a great place for students to learn and be confident, but for families to maintain balance. I would highly recommend it!
