This place should not be labeled as a camp ground. Just needed a dark, quiet place to crash in my pickup for a few hours and wasn’t offered a room, or any options besides “drive to Walmart in town” change this destination to a bed and breakfast...(at best)

This is one of those magical type places where the best kind of lifetime memories are made. From top to bottom, its all amazing: the camp, the experiences, the valuable lessons learned on a farm and all hosted on a safe outdoor Iowa farm environment. I wish I had more stars so I could give The Country Camp 10 out of 5 stars!

This unique and delightful camp experience for kids has been a resource in our community for many years. I refer to Janet and her camp every year, as a parent/grandparent as well as a child and family therapist. The staff is down to earth, upbeat and creative and they give the kids an experience they will remember and hold dear for years. It’s no accident the counselors want to return year after year as well. Country Camp is healthy old fashioned fun. I wish I could attend myself! I look forward to hearing the stories and help solve the mysteries every summer. In this age of internet and electronic relationships, Country Camp reinstalls the value of direct human interaction and free play, such important elements for developing healthy self esteem and problem solving skills. My 6 yo LOVES this camp. It's really creative and lets the kids be very imaginative. The camp counselors are amazing-- really friendly and wonderful with kids. I'll definitely send my children here again and highly recommend. :)
